MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: POWER CRISIS III
This is my third memo regarding our power crisis and how we are managing our power supply. There has been a slight decrease of power outages from February to April, now roughly an average of 4 hours a day.
I would like to thank the Ateneo community for generally complying with our guidelines.
Upon the advice of parties concerned, I would like to revise the guidelines for the summer period until classes resume in June 2010.
- The “no aircon” restriction before 9.00 AM and after 4.00 PM stays.
- Our generator set will be allowed to run until 9.00 PM during weekdays and Saturdays until 1.00 PM during Sundays if there are power outages.
- On holidays, generator set will be shut off. Exceptions are to be sought in good time through the Office of the President.
- The guidelines for the WH Kreutz campus will be customized with the HS admin in coordination with the President’s Office.
