MEMO TO: THE ADZU COMMUNITY
RE: “ONE NATION IN PRAYER- ISANG BANSA, ISANG PANALANGIN”
In light of the man-made and natural calamities that struck the country in 2013 and the country’s hope for rehabilitation, the Commission on Higher Education Chairperson, Dr Patricia B Licuanan, is encouraging all Higher Education Institutions to join His Excellency President Benigno Aquino III as he leads the country in prayer “One Nation in Prayer-Isang Bansa, Isang Panalangin” on 20 January 2014 Monday, 5:00 PM at the Malacanang Palace Grounds.
On this day the nation shall pray together to remember the lives lost in the tragic calamities of 2013 and to thank the Almighty for the strength and resilience He has granted us. As we move forward and rebuild our communities, we also ask for God’s guidance and protection.
In support of this call, I invite the AdZU community members to gather in common prayer in solidarity with the whole country. Let us meet on January 20, Monday 5:00 to 5:30 PM at the Carlos Dominguez Hall for prayer simultaneous with the prayer in Malacanang Palace.
