MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: NEW VISION-MISSION STATEMENT, STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS AND INSTITUTIONAL CORE PLAN 2012 – 2018 OF ADZU
I am very pleased to announce that the AdZU Board of Trustees in our meeting on 25 August 2012 approved the new Vision-Mission Statement (see attached document). We started the process of university-wide strategic planning in January this year. This is a product of a series of consultations and discussions with our internal and external stakeholders. From hereon, we shall be using the new official Vision-Mission Statement of AdZU.
In the same meeting the AdZU Board approved of the University Strategic Directions (see attached document) and the Institutional Core Plan 2012 – 2018. These will be cascaded to the different units for appropriation and application while we are fine-tuning the indicators of success.
As we continue to celebrate our centenary year, we renew ourselves along the lines of our Vision-Mission Statement, Strategic Directions and Institutional Core Plan 2012 – 2018 as we face the challenges ahead. I therefore encourage highly some forms of appropriation and internationalization of these documents so we can bring them to life in our respective units and the whole academic community.
I would like to thank the Planning Ad hoc team coordinated by Mr Roberto G Valerio, Assistant to the President for Planning and External Relations and Fr Albert E Alejo SJ for his invaluable input in the crafting of our Vision-Mission Statement and University Strategic Directions.
