Bachelor of Science in Statistics (BS Stat)
The program provides students a strong foundation in
statistical methods and principles, and equips them with skills, knowledge, and
attitudes for effective data analysis and management of surveys. The program enables
graduates to work as statisticians in planning, statistics and research
institutions, pharmaceutical industry and non-government organizations as
public opinion pollsters, and in teaching.
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (BS Math)
The program is for students who wish to study mathematics as
a science and acquire a broad knowledge and training in pure math, with a
background in mathematical modeling, scientific computing, and various modern
applications of mathematics. It prepares them for a career in
research, teaching math, and in the industry of finance, computer science,
statistics, marketing, physics, and biology.
