RE: INVOLVEMENT IN LOCAL COUNCIL OF CULTURE, ARTS AND HISTORY
Through Executive Order No. BC 75-2014, the city mayor, Honorable Maria Isabelle G Climaco, has reconstituted the Local Council of Culture, Arts and History to preserve, restore and promote the Chabacano language, and the history and culture of Zamboanga City. i am happy to note that the Ateneo de Zamboanga University is actively engaged in such a worthy endeavor through the involvement of the following as members of the council:

MR MARCO ALFINO ‘KIKO’ MIRANDA (Ateneo Center for Culture and Arts Director) for Performing Arts-Theater
MR CEDRIC ZABALA (Part-Time Arts and Sciences Faculty) for Digital Arts
DR JOSE GENARO YAP-AIZON (Part-Time Arts and Sciences Faculty) as Chairperson of Technical Working Group/Literary and Creative Arts
