RE: Institutional CENTENNIAL PLAY (100: “CIENTO”)

As part of the Centennial Jubilee celebration of Ateneo de Zamboanga University, the Centennial Committee, Campus Ministry Office, Formation Office, Department of Communication, Center for Performing and Visual Arts and El Consejo Atenista Student Government is inviting you to watch the Centennial Play entitled “CIENTO (100):” a musical production that brings us back to memories of 100 years of excellence, spirituality, and citizenship of the Ateneo.
100: “Ciento” is a story about a group of Atenean’s who encounter stories about their history that most have forgotten. Through these stories, this group of young eagles dared to dream when no one dared to fly when no one could. They piece back pieces of Ateneo’s history to discover the soul of, not just the university, but also of the Atenean. This musical production will commemorate 100 stories and experiences that shaped our history.
The centennial production is a collaborative work by ADZU students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The musical play will chronicle ADZU’s 100 years and the memories and events that grounded and sustained the university for a century. To head the production is storyteller-director Kiko Miranda. The musical play will be staged at the historic Brebuef Gymnasium on February 22, 23, and 24, 2013 at 6:00 PM.
The faculty and staff of all units / departments are invited to watch the musical play on February 22, 2013, Friday, 6:00 PM for free. Let us know by February 19, 2013, Tuesday until 5:00 PM if you are coming so that we could provide a free ticket for you.
