RE: INSTITUTIONAL CENTENNIAL JUBILEE OPENING RECOLLECTION
This school year is a milestone for us as we celebrate the Centennial Jubilee Year of Ateneo de Zamboanga University. It is our hope that this school year will be a year of remembering our past 100 years, thanksgiving, and renewal.
We hope the recollection will dispose us to a meaningful celebration of living 100 years of excellence, spirituality and citizenship.
This year, it will be a two-day affair from June 15 (Friday) 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM to June 16 (Saturday) 8:00AM – 12:00 PM. Our main facilitators will be Fr. Jose Ramon Villarin, SJ (President, Ateneo de Manila University) and Fr.Joel Tabora,SJ (President of Ateneo de Davao University).
General Flow of the Recollection:
June 15, 2012 – Friday – Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

12:00 Community Lunch (packed lunch)
– Due to lack of big space to eat together, lunch will be done in your respective offices/units. Claim your food at the designated area. It will also facilitate our quick assembly to our afternoon sharing session. Sharing will be done in your own existing ICGC groups / or by offices.

All faculty and staff from Grade School, High School, Schools/Colleges and Graduate Schools are required to attend the recollection.
For faculty and staff Muslim brothers and sisters, you are also expected to attend the common recollection points from 8:15 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. A special prayer for Muslims will be done from 10:30A.M. – 12:00P.M. at College AVR.
To create an atmosphere of silence, students will not be allowed to enter the Main Campus from 7:00AM – 10:00AM. All offices will be closed and all classes are suspended.
