Graduate Programs
On the graduate level, the department offers two masteral programs, the Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology (thesis program) and the Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling (Non – thesis program).
A. MASTER OF ARTS IN ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (MAOP)
Thesis Program
The MA in Organizational Psychology program provides the students with theoretical and research foundations on human behaviors in the work setting. The curriculum is designed to equip the graduate with a working knowledge of practices and procedures in the application of psychology in a variety of organizational settings. Knowledge of Human Resources Development and Organizational Behavior as well as skills in Group Process and Research is emphasized. The program is for students interested in pursuing doctorate studies in industries as human resource administrators, human resources developers in government agencies as well as in non-government organizations, and/or the academe as researchers and professors.
B. MASTER OF ARTS IN GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING (MAGC)
Non – Thesis Program
The MA in Guidance and Counseling Program emphasizes the development of competencies in psychological counseling and guidance services in different set ups: elementary, high school and college set ups. In particular, the program is designed to be consistent with national requirements in terms of knowledge and skills expected of licensed counseling practitioners. It is geared towards preparing the students for the national licensure examinations.
