The Ateneo Grade School Guidance Office
believes that every human being is of value and
importance, and has all the right and privilege to be helped and assisted for his/her holistic development.
Vision
The Ateneo Grade School Guidance Office, in the context of individual human development, become a venue for multiple self-help approaches that will lead to the individual’s success in the future.
Mission
The Ateneo Grade School Guidance Office
realizes this vision by facilitating a climate that
promotes in the person’s transformation through a
delivery of a comprehensive guidance program that addresses the following domains:
Academics. Assist students in improving learning through the full use of one’s capacities by providing opportunities to plan, monitor, and evaluate his/her progress in collaboration with teachers, parents and administrators through testing, follow-up and counselling services.
Personal – Social. Develop in students a healthy self-concept, the capacity to cope with change, acquire positive interpersonal skills and develop a sense of belongingness and responsibility within the family, the school and the community through our Individual counselling and group guidance service.
Career. Acquire the necessary skills and explore the world of work in relation to self-knowledge, develop educational plans and prepare for transition to a new level through our career orientation service.
Spiritual. Foster positive values of respect towards self and others, honesty, integrity, justice, humble service, peace and harmony, with creation, faith in God and love of country through our homeroom guidance service.
The Guidance Services are integrated in the academe, specifically in the Homeroom Guidance Program, to guide students in their developmental growth.
