The first agricultural maps under the PARMap component of Phil-Lidar 2 were turned-over to the representatives of the respective local govenment units (LGUs) earlier today. The maps turnover ceremory was held at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel in Libis, Quezon City with Cynthia Villar as the keynote speaker.
Among the delegates were Engr. Erwin Kulayan, representing the City Agriculturist and Ofelia Despalo of the CPDO, representing Mayor Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar to receive the maps for the Ayala and Tumaga Agricultural districts of Zamboanga City.
The rest of Zamboanga City and Zamboanga Peninsula will follow within the next year.
