The American Corner of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University held its first ever Library Inter-School Quiz Bowl on January 23, 2015.
The quiz bowl was organized to promote the use of libraries in this fast-paced digital age, where students are demanding greater access to resources through technology. It was held at the Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall.
Three schools participated in the event: Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School, Claret High School and St. Joseph High School. Each school was represented by five students, for a total of 15 contestants.
Mikka Ella L. Sebastian, a student from Claret High School emerged champion. The other winners were second placer Shane M. Estudillo (ADZU High School) and third placer Debbora Raye D. Despalo (Claret High School)
