MEMO TO: UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE: FEAST OF ST IGNATIUS MASSES AND SERVICE AWARDS

I wish to inform the community that there will be no offices and classes for all levels on 31 July (Thursday), the Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus.  However, we shall have our anticipated celebration of the feast on 30 July (Wednesday) through masses and service award programs for the different units. Please be guided by the following schedule:

GRADE SCHOOL

The Eucharistic Celebration is at 8:00 AM at the University Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Fr Stephen T Abuan SJ, incoming principal of the High School, is the main celebrant. This will be immediately followed by the Service Award Program for Grade School faculty and staff.

HIGH SCHOOL
The Eucharistic Celebration is at 10:00 AM at the HS Lobby of the WH Kreutz Campus in Tumaga. Fr Stephen T Abuan SJ is the main celebrant. This will be immediately followed by the Service Award Program for High School faculty and staff.

HIGHER EDUCATION AND CENTRAL SERVICES
The Eucharistic Celebration is at 3:30 PM at the Multi-Purpose Covered Courts (MPCC). Archbishop Romulo T Dela Cruz DD is the main celebrant. The mass shall be preceded by the Service Award Program for Higher Education and Central services at 2:00 PM, also at the MPCC.

Separate activities shall also be simultaneously held with the afternoon mass for the non-Catholic members of the community in the following venues:

Campion Lecture Hall – Muslim Prayer Service
Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall – Christian Prayer Worship

I invite all and urge the participation of the University community in these institutional celebrations.

May the spirit of St Ignatius deepen our zeal to work together for our mission.
