Program Overview

The BSMA program provides a foundation for a career in managerial accounting and finance, commerce and industry, consultancy services and government agencies, involving management planning, controlling, decision-making and performance evaluation. It also prepares the students for the global Management Accounting Certificate examination and other professional accounting certificates.

The objectives of the school are the following:
- Equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to be effective practitioners in the field of business and management.
- Develop in the students an entrepreneurial spirit in order to significantly contribute towards the development of the city and the region.
- Provide students with academic and professional training that is grounded on faith in God and the Jesuit ideals.
- Develop in the students a sense for ethical business practice and care and concern for the environment.

The course is enriched with accounting, business law, taxation, management, information technology and other related courses that address the demand for graduates with the competence and proficiency of accountants but are not necessary Certified Public Accountants. This enriched program also enables the graduates to take the examination for Certified Accounting Technician or the examination for Certified Financial Analyst.
