Fr. Jose T Bacatan SJ Library, Ateneo de Zamboanga University and Zamboanga-Basilan Sulu Tawi-Tawi Association of Private Schools (ZAMBASULTAPS) conducted a Regional Seminar-Workshop on “New Technologies and Multimedia in Libraries: Impact on Assessment and Accreditation on April 19 – 20, 2018 at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, La Purisima Campus.

The seminar-workshop allowed participants to understand media and information literacy and its related concepts; develop essential competencies in multimedia applications; understand the process of quality assurance and accreditation; and take the challenge of a Future-Ready Librarians.
A total of eighty (80) librarians from Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and the ARMM attended the seminar. The librarians’ council was able to invite Prof. Delia Fernandez, Accreditor/Trainer from Ateneo Teacher Center of Ateneo de Manila University to be the Resource Speaker.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has granted the seminar workshop 12 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
