The Ateneo de Zamboanga University Alumni Association (ADZUAA) Board of Trustees has a new set of officers eager to be at the service to their fellow Ateneo Alumni for the year 2011. The newly-elected officers are as follows: President, Pedro Rufo N Soliven, Vice-President, Eduardo A Catis, Secretary, George G Ledesma, Treasurer, Jose Rizalino L Ortega, Assistant Treasurer, Marilou C Bejerano, Auditor, Francisco V. Lorenzo. The following are the Board Members: Dennis G Falcasantos, Edwin N Makasiar, Antonio M Blanco, Jaime Vicente S Santos, Rene E Salazar, Raymond Gaspar A Sator, Jesus Vincent M Carbon III, Lope A Iringan, Arlita D Tubongbanua. Each officer is given one term to serve the association and is equivalent to (3) years. Carbon, Falcasantos, Francisco, Salazar and Sator are first time board members.
The officers were installed and sworn-in by no less than the President of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Fr. Antonio F Moreno, SJ during the Blue and White Ball held last December 5, 2010 at the Garden Orchid Convention Center. The ambience for the evening was festive and vibrant and the dynamic dance music was provided by three of the famous bands in Zamboanga City, Southwinds, Popoy’s and The Revivals.
