Ateneo de Zamboanga University Alumni Association (ADZUAA) Awards 2012
Our Grand Ateneo Alumni Homecoming is just a few months away and every year, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University Alumni Association bestows its greatest honors upon a select few who bring honor and recognition to the university through their personal and professional service to the university and their communities.
We invite all our alumni/ae to nominate an alumnus/alumna who meets these standards. All nominations are taken into careful consideration; and selections are made by the Alumni Awards Committee. Please help us in honoring those who have truly shown their Ateneo motto of being Man and Women for Others.
Please be informed that no award will be given if the candidate selected fails to confirm availability for the Awards Ceremony or will be unavailable for the event.

ADZU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (ADZUAA) AWARDS:
Atenean of the Year– Nominee must have attained national prestige, which has brought honor and distinction to the institution and has rendered meritorious service to the school and the Alumni Association as well. He/She must also be outstanding in his/her professional field of endeavor. He/She must be selected by any registered member of the association except from the Awards Committee.
Most Outstanding Alumnus of the Year- Nominee must have attained national recognition in a particular field and should have a very outstanding recent achievement. He/She must be selected by any registered member of the association except from the Awards Committee.
Outstanding Golden Jubilarian of the Year- Selected by classmates of the Golden Jubilarian Class for outstanding achievement in his/her own field of endeavor
Outstanding Silver Jubilarian of the Year– Selected by classmates of the Silver Jubilarian Class for outstanding achievement in his/her own field of endeavor.
Outstanding Ruby Jubilarian of the Year- Selected by classmates of the Silver Jubilarian Class for outstanding achievement in his/her own field of endeavor.
Special Awards- Given to an alumnus or alumna who, through special outstanding efforts or achievements during the past year brought honor and prestige to his/her profession, to the university and the association.
ALUMNI AWARDS CRITERIA
In all of the following categories, the GENERAL CRITERIA for the Open Nomination will be as follows:
Any Ateneo de Zamboanga University Alumnus/Alumna of good standing/performance and has met the following criteria will qualify for the awards to be given during the annual Homecoming.
CRITERIA (For Nomination)
• Must be an Alumnus/Alumna as qualified by the ADZUAA Constitution
• The candidate must be nominated by an ADZUAA member and recommended by any
ADZUAA Board Member.
• Members of the Awards committee cannot nominate a candidate for any kind of
award.
• Deadline for submission of Application Form is 30 days before the Awards Ceremony.
• Selected awardees will be informed at least 15 days before the Awards Ceremony.
• Unregistered alumnus/alumna cannot recommend or nominate a candidate.
