The ADZU College Faculty Club, headed by its President Jose Journal Pangan, convened with the College Faculty Board Members on December 20 2013 to change its name to ADZU College Faculty Club Inc. This resolution was passed in order to meet the requirements for a new registration in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The registration of its new name will bring about the legal personality of the ACFCI. Should it enter into an agreement with any financing institution, such as the proposed housing project, the ACFCI will have the legal right to represent its members. ACFCI will be in a better position to continually serve and represent the interests of the university’s college faculty members.
The current set of officers resolved to register the new name with the SEC. The sets of officers are the following: President Jose Journal Pangan, V-President – Mr. Perre Ian Dela Cruz, Secretary – Ms. Annalie M Mitra, Treasurer – Dr. Aida Domingo and PIO – Mr. Joseph Climaco. The Board Members are Ms. Lucia Loreli Macrohon, Ms. Grace Pilanga, Nenita Uro, Leonora Pena, Dr. Rochelleo Mariano, Daisy Quisel, Randy Magdaluyo, Anita Tagadiad, and Rommel Cuaresma.
This momentous event was witnessed by the University Administrators: Father President Karel San Juan SJ, Academic Vice President Dr. Rebecca Fernandez, University Treasurer Ms. Angela Baes, and Human Resources Director Engr. Aldrin Hitalia.
