As we continue our efforts to support vulnerable families who were affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine, the AdZU Task Force Contra COVID-19 distributed its third wave of food packs to the following barangays: Labuan, Limpapa, Lunzuran, Lumbangan, Patalon, Sinunuc, and Zone II.
In solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters in their observance of Ramadan, sacks of rice and canned goods were turned over to the City Government to augment their initiative of distributing food packs to Muslim communities in the city.
Furthermore, in support of medical workers, N95 masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) were donated to the Zamboanga City Medical Center and Brent Hospital. Additionally, surgical masks were donated to the following: Barangays Talon-Talon, Lunzuran, and Zone II; and PHAPI-Lantaka COVID-19 Facility.
Boxes of soap, N95 face masks, and medicine were also donated to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in response to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the area.
