The Ateneo de Zamboanga University School of Management and Accountancy in coordination and collaboration with DSLU-Angelo King Institute, DSLU-Economics Organization and Junior Philippines Economics Society, will hold the 9th Young Economists Convention on August 27-28, 2009 at the Campion Lecture Room, Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
Participating colleges and universities come from the city and the region. This will be a regional convention with an intent to promote social awareness within the academic institutions, particularly in the areas of economics and management in response to the growing concern for the environment.
This will be a two-day convention of economics faculty and students in the hope of learning and understanding economic trends that affect the country. This event will also give the participants an opportunity to explore and discover the vital effects of development and the cost that goes with it, and that we are paying to nature.
