The Ateneo de Zamboanga University Library is currently holding its 15th Library Book and Multimedia Display. This event will run from January 18-22, 2010. There are more than 700 books and multimedia materials on display. The newly acquired materials vary from print to non-print. Films are also shown during the 5-day event.
The Library Book and Multimedia Display started in January 2002. This activity was initiated to make the library patrons/clients aware of newly acquired materials in the library. The staff felt that there was a need to encourage the students and other members of the Ateneo community to become active users of the library. This library activity serves to entice more users to come and make full use of the library resources.
The Library Director, in coordination with the library staff and the Audio Visual Center worked to make this event successful.
