The Ateneo de Zamboanga University hosted the Second All-Ateneo Formation Colloquium last July 1-4, 2010 at the Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall. It was a gathering of all formation heads/directors of the Tertiary Jesuit Universities coming from Ateneo de Davao University, Ateneo de Naga University, Ateneo de Manila University, Xavier University and Ateneo de Zamboanga University who work on the area of non-academic formation for faculty, staff and students.
The event aimed to strengthen and promote the integration of the Jesuits’ vision and ideals in the formation efforts of higher education, which, in turn, will be beneficial to improve the overall non-academic formation of the faculty, staff and students in the Ateneo institutions.
I thank the Presidential Formation Management Team (PFMT), the working committees, and other faculty and staff for making this event a success. Let us continue to be united as one community.
