AdZU High School celebrates EDSA with forum on leadership

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School commemorated the 27th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution with a Forum on Principled Leadership and Social Responsibility. The AdZU High School Interact Club, together with the Council of Leaders and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines organized the event held at school lobby the whole morning of February 25, Monday.

Dr. John Michael F. Dellariarte served as guest/resource speaker. Dr Dellariarte is one of the awardees of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP). Fourth year students, and members of selected clubs or organizations whose charism is along the line of social responsibility or civic leadership, comprised the participants.

This activity aimed to encourage the students to participate in nation-building through volunteerism and through the spirit of bayanihan. This forum also discussed the relevance of the People Power Revolution among the youth. This activity was a call to action for all Filipinos, including the students to participate in rebuilding our nation.

This event highlighted new manifestations of People Power and a rekindling of Filipino values.
