ADZU Grade School celebrates St. Iggy’s Feast

The ADZU-GS celebrates this year’s Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola with a week-long activities.This aims at reaching out to Ateneans to live out their Ignatian values and to have a closer view of who St. Ignatius of Loyola is.

Ignatius of Loyola, also known as Íñigo Oñaz López de Loyola. a man of God, who gave the first place of his life to God and a man of profound prayer. His feast day is July 31 and he is the founder of the Society of Jesus. We celebrate this event to commemorate this saint and his works most significantly because he is one of first three comapanions whose passion, fire and friendship has pave a long way to build a community of dedicated men who brought Ateneo into existence.

The activities/events, which highlight this significant feast, includes the following:

* Prayer Writing Contest
* Novena in Honor of St. Ignatius of Loyola
