The Ateneo de Zamboanga University is pleased to announce the 1st Faculty and Staff Art Exhibit entitled “JUST ART” from 23 July to 28 August 2010 at the Gallery of the Peninsula and the Archipelago. The exhibit will be formally opened on Friday, 23 July 2010 at 5:30 in the afternoon.
The exhibition aims to provide opportunity for faculty and staff to express themselves in their unique approaches to art and at the same time an opportunity for the students and the general public to view and experience art from the perspective of the faculty and staff.
Around 55 artworks in various media of the following artists will be featured: Albert E Abtahi, Ioustina Aranan, Brian Joseph P Bañgo, Danilo T Bautista Jr, Frederick O De Leon, Emir V Epino, Ma Teresa Romelyn G Fabugais, Ceferina E Gonzales, Rossini T Gregorio, Servando D Halili, Al Musreen Bin S Hamis, Aldrina A Hitalia, Aryameir B Ismael, Sandra A Jamiro, Estesa Xaris Que-Legaspi, May Lilian T Maravilles, Rocheleo E Mariano, Rowena P Mendez, Marco Alfino V Miranda, Glenn A Oliva, Leonora C Peña, Francis Daryl L Pong, Cecile B Simbajon, Ma Luisa U Sousa, Ruth F Tabuniar, Richter Robin M Vecina, Francis Ray E Vesagas.
This event has been organized in line with the celebration of the Feast of St Ignatius 2010.
