AdZU Faculty Club Inc. and University Administrators Dialogue on The Re-Evaluation of Salary Scheme and Additional Benefits for Adzu Faculty and Staff

The ADZU College Faculty Club Board Members, led by its President Mr. Jose Journal Pangan, recently initiated a dialogue with the school administration on the reevaluation of the existing salary scheme for faculty and staff. The administrators present were Father Karel San Juan S.J., University President, Dr. Rebecca Fernandez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Engr. Aldrina Hitalia, Director of Human Resources and Ms. Angela Baes, University Treasurer.

The ADZU Faculty Club proposed for compensation adjustments based on data gathered by Dr. Leonardo Dumadag on enrollment of students and for additional non-taxable benefits such as clothing allowance.

At the end of the dialogue Father President Karel, expressed his intention for “exploring all possibilities” to produce a competitive compensation package.

This consultation and dialogue was also attended by Ms. Maria Geraldine M. Enriquez the President of Academic and Non-academic staff organization, ADZU Faculty Club Vice President Perre Ian dela Cruz, and ADZU Faculty Club Board Members Dr. Rochelleo Mariano, Dr. Aida Damgo, Mr. Rommel Cuaresma, Ms. Grace Pilanga, and Ms. Annalie Mitra.

Another round of consultations is expected to occur sometime in the summer of 2014.
