The Ateneo de Zamboanga University Campus Ministry Office and the Filipino-Turkish Tolerance School held an Iftar Dinner at the Multi-Purpose Covered Courts (MPCC) Salvador Campus on the evening of July 21, 2014. The event was held to commemorate the observation of Holy month of Ramadan.
The university administration, faculty members, and students from the PHILO 103 C, PHILO 106 D, PHILO 100 G, and RS 109 B classes attended the said event.
The participants shared the evening meal in solidarity and friendship. There were also brief presentations about the Holy month of Ramadan to help enlighten the non-Muslim members of the university about the meaning and practice of fasting during the month.
