AdZU Campus Ministry and APCI hold Centennial Thanksgiving IRD Retreat

The Inter-Religious Dialogue (IRD) Program of the Campus Ministry Office, in coordination with the Ateneo Peace and Culture Institute, held an IRD Thanksgiving Retreat on October 17-19, 2012 at the House of Peace, Harmony Village, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City. The event was spearheaded by the guest speaker/facilitator Dr. Renato T. Oliveros.

In celebration of 100 years of Excellence, Spirituality and Citizenship, the participants paused and looked back at the Ateneo history with an inter-religious dialogue lens to have a deeper sense of appreciation of our unity in diversity, to understand what it means to be an Atenean with Ignatian Spirituality, and to have a heightened consciousness of living our lives in constant dialogue. The exercise brought about reflective discussions of the GPH-MILF Framework Agreement. The retreat also aims to initially convene possible members of the ADZU Faculty and Staff IRD core group.
