{xtypo_dropcap}T{/xtypo_dropcap}he Gallery of the Peninsula and the Archipelago (GPA) ended Summer Art Classes program on May 15, 2010 with a simple graduation ceremony and an exhibit of the students’ works.
Over 80 students enrolled in the summer program in such classes as Basic Anime, Basic Cartooning, Basic Drawing 1 and 2, Drawing Figures and Faces, and Oil/Watercolor Painting. Special Awards were given to students who excelled in their own courses.
The artists who handled the classes were Elizabeth Therese J Almonte, Eisilane Daung-Muldong and Rameer Amilasan Tawasil.
This program is an annual activity of the GPA which aims to encourage the love of art among children and adults as well as to hone their talents in visual arts.
