Admission Requirements and Procedures for Graduate School

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURE:

For new students:
  1. GLT (Passed Graduate Level Test)
  2. Transcript of Records – (1) Photocopy
  3. Honorable Dismissal – Original Copy
  4. Diploma – (1) Photocopy
  5. Recent 2 x 2 Picture – (1) Copy (Blue Background)
Additional requirements for CHED Scholarship application:
  • Photocopied Diploma
  • Photocopied TOR
  • Three Letters of Recommendation*
  • Personal Statement Guide**
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Honorable Dismissal (Original Copy)
  • Three Interviews (By the Dean, Chair of the Program, and Graduate School Administrative Officer)
  • Graduate Level Test


Applicants are required to take the Graduate Level Test. In addition, applicants to the Master in Psychology need to take the Qualifying Examination for the program.
a. Secure form from the Graduate School Administrative Office
b. Pay the examination fee at the Finance Office
c. Schedule the examination with the Testing Center
d. Visit the Graduate School Administrative Office for the examination results and further instructions.

  1. Applicants submit the following documents to aid in evaluation for admission. These must be submitted after passing the entrance and qualifying exam.
    a. Photocopy of Transcript of Records
    • Master program: Bachelor’s degree TORDoctorate program: Master’s degree TOR
    b. Photocopy of Diploma
    • Master program: Bachelor’s degree diplomaDoctorate program: Master’s degree diploma
    c. Original Copy of Honorable Dismissal from the last school attended
    d. 1 copy of 2×2 picture with blue background
    e. Photocopy of License of Profession (MHA program)
    f. Work Certificate (MHA program)

  2. Applicants whose degrees do not match the graduate program to enroll in may be requested to:
    Master Program:
    ✓ Take program-specific qualifying exam
    ✓ Take bridging courses Doctorate Program:
    ✓ Submit proof of Independent Study and Publication for non-thesis Master’s program applying for PhD program
    ✓ Take bridging courses

  3. International Students
    a. In addition to regular admission requirements, International Students must take written and oral examination on English. Students with low proficiency are required to enroll in Remedial English Course before they are admitted to the graduate program.
    b. Other requirements:
    ➤ Php 15,000.00 International Students Fee (to be paid in three semesters)
    ➤ Photocopy of Passport and Student Visa
    ➤ Photocopy of Permit to Study from Immigration (when necessary)

*All students are on Probationary Status until after all official documents required for Admission are submitted.
