The Nursing program develops student nurses ready to meet the health care needs of a community through direct nursing service, teaching, and research.
The program of study is designed with nursing focus and a functional-role component. The functional roles are administrator, educator, and clinical specialist. Completion of the program will prepare the graduate to practice as a nurse specialist in an advanced clinical role, to teach at the College level, or to pursue an administrative career.
This program prepares qualified nurses for clinical specialization and leadership in nursing. This is intended for professional nurses in various nursing fields, including health education, service, administration, community health research and private practice.
The Master in Health Administration (MHA) graduate program is designed to prepare health care providers in general with the needed knowledge, skills and attitude, to effectively respond to the demands of a dynamic health care industry.
