History
The ADZU Psychology Department was fist formally established in June 1996 with Ms. Rachel N. Castillo as its first ever Department Chair. The BS Psychology program was offered with three tracks which included pre med track for psychology students who would later proceed to Medicine; the HRD track for students who would want to have a career in human resources, business & industry; and the guidance and counseling track. Today, the department has extended its program into the graduate level by offering a master’s degree for Guidance and Counseling and Organizational Psychology
