The Ateneo joins the world in commemorating the International Day of Peace (IDP) with an exhibit entitled Peace’Ta came from the words peace and tayo.
The said event is organized by the Ateneo Peace and Culture Institute (APCI) in collaboration with the Gallery of the Peninsula and Archipelago to advocate awareness among people on issues related to peace.
According to Ms. Precious Mazo, APCI Program Coordinator for Peace Advocacy in Action, “Among the outputs to be exhibited are the 1000 paper cranes, soil painting, hexagonal art and free hugs.” All of which are works of students who joined in the activities organized for the IDP.
The exhibit will run from September 26 until October 13 and will be open to the public at the Gallery of the Peninsula and Archipelago.
