Pursuing its mission of community development, AdZU partners with ZAMBOECOZONE Authority and the Zamboanga City Local Government, to bring together over 150 Chief Executive Officers (CEO), Chief Financial Officers (CFO), and Government Officials to the 3rd CEO/CFO Conference on November 29, 2019 at AdZU Lantaka Campus.
With the theme, “Leading the way to Inclusive Growth,” the Mindanao Forum on Agriculture and Fisheries, will put the farming and aquaculture industry of Mindanao under a microscope to discover its potential as the Food Basket, producing 40% of the country’s food needs.
Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food, Senator Cynthia Villar, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Director, Laura Ignacio and Development Bank of the Philippines Executive Vice President Jose Gabino Dimayuga, and other speakers will be discussing local and global economic forecasts, sustainable business practices, investment opportunities in agriculture and fisheries, as well as governmental programs for farming and agriculture.
Breakout sessions in the afternoon include Inclusive Growth, Sustainable Living and Farm Tourism, and Halal: How Can it Support Agriculture in Mindanao?
