This year, AdZU hosted the 5th National Conference of the Association of Jesuit Religious Studies & Theology Departments (AJRSTD) last April 25-30, 2019 at the Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall (CDCH), Salvador Campus.
A gathering of Ateneo Religious Studies and Theology professors, the conference is expected to strengthen Ateneo’s thrust on holistic formation among its students with a focus on spiritual formation and inter-religious dialogue.
Spearheaded by the Jesuit Higher Education Council (JHEC) with AdZU President Fr Karel San Juan SJ at the forefront, the week-long conference pushed for collaborative development through updating and sharing of resources and strategies of pedagogy while taking in special consideration the distinct characteristics of each university and supporting research and scholarship among its members.
