Students’ success is deeply rooted in the dedication and expertise of their teachers. To support this, the Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP), in partnership with AdZU’s College of Science, Information Technology, and Engineering (CSITE) Mathematics Department, organized an intensive two-day training session for educators that lasted the entire weekend and ended on November 10 at 5:00 p.m. Dr. Eden and Dr. Vallejo encouraged the coaches to engage in interactive discussions and problem-solving exercises themselves, ensuring they could apply the techniques learned to help their students reach their full potential.
The event marked a significant moment for mathematical education in the region, with participants coming from a diverse array of schools across Mindanao. The collaboration between the MSP and ADZU has further solidified the region’s growing involvement in national and international mathematics competitions.
We hope these sessions are just the start of many more to come, fostering growth and continued excellence in mathematical education.
