Recognizing the importance of research publication as a way of communicating recent studies and findings in various field of inquiry, Ateneo de Zamboanga University through the Ateneo Research Center awarded publication incentives to selected members of the AdZU community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For School Year 2016-2017 the following faculty members were recipients of the AdZU incentive package for publication:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jamaica Lota \u2013 delos Reyes<\/strong> of the Natural Science department for her article entitled Multiplex SSR-PCR Analysis of genetic Diversity and Redundancy in the Philippine Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Germplasm Collection<\/em> published in \u201cThe Philippine Journal of Crop Science\u201d,<\/strong> an ISI listed Journal. She was also awarded a cash incentive of Php 20,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n School of Education faculty, Dorothy Joann Lei O. Labrador, PhD <\/strong>similarly received incentives for her three articles published in a National journal with the following titles: The Good, the Bad, and the Holy: Motivation, Anxiety and Perceived Consequences in Taking High-stakes Examinations<\/em> published in \u201cThe Guidance Journal\u201d; The Relationship of Teacher Behavior with Student Engagement in School among High Ability Students <\/em>published in the \u201cPhilippine Journal of Counseling Psychology\u201d; Assessing the Relationship between Spiritual Well-being and Political Participation as Mediated by Citizenship<\/em> published in the \u201cEducational Measurement and Evaluation Review\u201d. A local artist and faculty Ms. Sandra Ma A. Likewise, Teresita G. Monta\u00f1o, PhD Director of ARC,<\/strong> has published her work in the \u201cInternational Journal of Applied Chemistry\u201d her article on Employability, Livelihood Diversity and Identity: Factors Affecting local Communities\u2019 Social Vulnerability.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Dean of the School of Liberal Arts Robert V. Panaguiton, PhD<\/strong> was also awarded for his publication in a national journal \u201cLiving Flame: A Journal of Interdisciplinary Discourse in the Spirituality Discernment of the Spirit\u201d for his article Filipino Spirituality: Towards a Discursive Reflexivity<\/em>.
Faculty from the School of Liberal Arts, Mr. Mark Francis Franciso and Mr. Erbert L. Medelin together with Junior High School faculty, Mr. Rovic John F. Eslao<\/strong> received cash gifts for their Textbook publication Historia de Zamboanga: MagaLectura<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
