𝐀𝐃𝐙𝐔 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠:

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗔𝗗𝗭𝗨 𝗨𝗥𝗢 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) Research Office, under the leadership of Director Perla “Arlene” S. Ledesma, successfully conducted its Year-End Evaluation of the SY 2025–2026 Operational Plan and the crafting of the SY 2026–2027 OPLAN on March 31–April 1, 2026 at the University Research Office Conference Room.

Together with her team—Aleli, Rigel, and Odine—Director Ledesma facilitated a reflective assessment of the office’s performance and accomplishments. The evaluation highlighted strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement, guided by strategies, targets, activities, personnel assignments, budget considerations, and timelines. Individual assessments were complemented by collective reflection, ensuring a comprehensive review of the year’s operations.

The planning phase focused on aligning upcoming activities with the University’s Strategies, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Targets. The team also integrated schedules into the University’s Calendar of Activities and considered the institution’s Vision and Mission, as well as the PAASCU recommendations on Research, in shaping the Operational Plan for SY 2026–2027.

The two-day session concluded with the team agreeing on expected deliverables during their Monday work-from-home schedule, reinforcing their commitment to research excellence and operational efficiency. Grateful for wisdom, guidance, energy, patience, and dedication, the team expressed their resolve to continue fulfilling their responsibilities in accordance with the Ignatian Values of faith, Service, Excellence and Companionship.
